Minors came under criminal charges for plans to destroy the FSB building in the computer game Minecraft. In the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, schoolchildren were released, who were accused of being trained in terrorist practices and talking about planning the explosion of the FSB building while playing the computer game Minecraft. For 15-year-old Denis M., the detention in the pre-trial detention center was changed to a restriction of actions. “He is forbidden to leave his home at night, communicate with the defendants in the case, use the Internet,” the message says. Thus, the court granted the defense's motion to mitigate the measure of restraint for the adolescent.
The court took similar actions in relation to the second defendant in the case - Bogdan A., who has been under house arrest since June 2020.
As previously reported, the third suspect, Nikita U., was released from the pre-trial detention center in May; after his release, no measure of restraint was chosen for him.
