The Moscow Arbitration Court, at the request of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA), arrested property of two persons controlling EuroCityBank in the amount of 10.5 billion rubles, the court ruling said.
The demand for interim measures in the form of seizure of property of the former chairman of the board of the credit organization Oksana Ulanova and member of the board Dmitry Byaly was announced as part of a lawsuit to recover this amount from them.
The court noted that these measures do not violate the interests of interested parties, are commensurate with the stated requirements and ensure the actual implementation of the goals of interim measures.
EurocityBank was declared bankrupt on September 27, 2016.
