Lucerne (Switzerland) police searched the apartment of hacker Tillie Kottmann, who took / claimed responsibility for the massive hacking of CCTV cameras with facial recognition at Tesla and Cloudflare, as well as in hospitals, prisons, schools, etc.
" This morning at 7 am my time, the local police searched my apartment and confiscated all electronic devices at the request of the US Department of Justice, "Kottmann said.
According to Bloomberg, the search was carried out as part of a hack investigation that took place last year and is unrelated to the recent wave of security camera hacks. According to a search warrant issued by the District Court for the Western District of Washington, the hacker is wanted for "breaking into computer databases and then stealing and distributing information, including source code, confidential documents and internal user data."
Previously, Kottmann published confidential Intel documents and source codes of fifty companies on the Web, including Microsoft, Adobe, Lenovo, AMD, Qualcomm, Motorola, Hisilicon (owned by Huawei), Mediatek, GE Appliances, Nintendo, Roblox, Disney, Johnson Controls and etc.
