The cyber police found that a resident of the Chernivtsi region was engaged in fraud on social networks.
She posted ads on the Internet for the sale of clothing. Required full prepayment. After receiving the money, she stopped communicating with clients, according to law enforcement officers.
She faces up to three years in prison.
"The fraudulent scheme of the 33-year-old bukovinka was documented by employees of the department for countering cybercrimes in the Chernivtsi region," the message says.
A laptop, memory card, mobile phone, bank cards, SIM cards and draft notes were seized from the attacker.
She deceived about 100 citizens. Law enforcers establish the amount of damage caused.
