In Orenburg, a swindler will appear before the court, whose victims were dozens of people, and the damage amounted to more than 200 thousand rubles.

According to the investigation , the young man hacked accounts in social networks and changed the password, blocking the owner's access to the account. Then he sent messages asking for a loan of money to all the friends of the account. In one of the cases, the accused broke the page of the daughter of a 62-year-old resident of Orenburg and on her behalf asked to transfer 70 thousand rubles, allegedly to buy a dress.

In a similar way, the attacker deceived 46 residents of various constituent entities of the Russian Federation, who in total transferred him more than 220 thousand rubles.

The young man was charged under Art. 272 and Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal access to computer information and fraud). The materials of the criminal case were transferred to the Industrial District Court of the city of Orenburg for consideration on the merits.
