This is "at least 50 million computers." Sources told Bloomberg that in May, Chinese civil servants were ordered to replace foreign computers in exchange for local computers with a nationally developed operating system. Measures are being taken to stop depending on the United States and other geopolitical rivals that can impose sanctions on China. However, according to Bloomberg interlocutors, this massive replacement demonstrates China's strong concern about information security. At the same time, the country's authorities began to trust local manufacturers of computers, laptops, servers and software more.

The requirement to replace foreign-brand personal computers with domestic counterparts has been extended to central government agencies and state-backed corporations. Unnamed sources explained that such a replacement should be made within the next two years.

The Chinese authorities are expected to plan to replace at least 50 million devices at the central government level alone. The authorities want to isolate important organs from foreign technology. This will greatly affect HP and Dell, which are the first PC suppliers to China.
