Attackers stole more than 8 million rubles from a bank in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of theft, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region told reporters.
“A message was received by the call center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the city of Dzerzhinsk about penetration into one of the credit and financial institutions of the city. A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code ("Theft"), ”the press service said.
As noted in the department, the message about the theft was received on September 21, at about 10:30 Moscow time.
“At present, a complex of operational-search and investigative measures is being taken to establish all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the persons involved in the commission of this crime,” the press service said.
