Justin Kahn, co-founder of Twitch, two weeks ago announced the launch of the Fractal blockchain platform for the sale and purchase of NFT tokens. And I already ran into problems.

Before the launch of the Fractal NFT project, a bot used for his Discord channel was hacked by Twitch co-founder Justin Kahn. The attacker posted a link to a fake NFT site that was extorting money from unsuspecting users.

A group of hackers hacked a bot on the entrepreneur's Discord channel and posted a message with a link to the sale of tokens at a bargain price. More than 100 thousand users took advantage of the "unique offer". Thanks to this, the scammers have enriched themselves by $ 150 thousand.

After it became known about the incident, Kan drew attention to the hacking of the server. He promised that all the deceived would be compensated for the damage. In addition, Kahn stressed that all giveaways on behalf of Fractual will always be free.

The founders of Fractal apologized for the incident and noted that scammers managed to deceive only 0.3% of the total community.
