Sberbank recorded and repelled about 2 thousand cyber attacks of various types during the first half of 2019, but the bank and its customers did not suffer any damage. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the credit organization.
“In the first two quarters, the bank’s defense systems repelled about 2 thousand attacks of various types. Sberbank’s protection systems successfully repelled these attacks, there is no damage to the bank and customers, ”the press service said.
At the same time, the bank noted that, in particular, they recorded isolated attack attempts related to the distribution of the Russian-speaking group of hackers Silence. “Malicious messages in the automatic mode were detected and reflected in a timely manner by the bank’s protection means. Neither the bank nor the bank’s customers suffered any damage, ”Sberbank added.
