Unknown Hacker Put Up Domino's India Customer Data For Sale For 10 Btc

Jubilant Foodworks, which operates a chain of pizzerias Domino's Pizza in India, was allegedly hacked. It is reported by Gadgets 360.

An unknown attacker allegedly stole phone numbers and credit card information of customers. Representatives of Jubilant FoodWorks in a commentary to the publication confirmed the breach of security, but denied the leak.

“In accordance with our policy, we do not store financial information or credit card information of our clients, so such information has not been compromised,” the company said.
Hudson Rock CTO Alon Gal has posted screenshots of the announcement posted on the darknet. The unknown person said that he hacked into Domino's India and stole 13 TB of confidential data.

According to another screenshot, the hacker set the base for 10 BTC (~ $ 550,200 at the time of writing). He demanded 50 BTC (~ $ 2.7 million) from Domino's to keep the information out of the public domain.

Recall that in February 2021, a database appeared on one of the hacker forums, allegedly containing information about 342,619 users of Trezor hardware wallets. Representatives of the company suggested that the announcement of the sale was fake.
