The administration of the service refused to delete information on the orders of Roskomnadzor The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined the Telegram messenger for refusing to delete illegal information, the press service of the body reported. As reported, the fine was imposed under two Roskomnadzor protocols. In total, the service will have to pay 5 million rubles for not deleting messages about the January rallies in support of Alexei Navalny. At the same time, Telegram faces four more fines in the amount of up to 16 million rubles. The Magistrate's Court of the Tagansky District received four new reports on an administrative offense in relation to the messenger.









The same court previously accepted six administrative cases against Twitter, five protocols each against Facebook and Google, and before that the social network TikTok was fined for 6 million rubles. All of the above were guilty of not deleting messages about rallies not sanctioned by the authorities.
