SBU accused Russia of cyberattack. We are talking about the mass mailing of e-mails with viruses, which happened about a month ago.
Cybersecurity specialists of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) have prevented a massive attack on the computer networks of the Ukrainian authorities, the SBU press service said.
The Ukrainian special service clarified that we are talking about the mass mailing of emails with computer viruses, which took place about a month ago. At the same time, some of the addresses from which these letters were sent were spoofed.
Some authorities reportedly received mailings allegedly from the National Police of Ukraine.
The specialists assured that they were able to track the control and command servers from which the spam was sent. Some of them are said to be in Russia. The SBU has not yet provided any evidence to the accusations.
