In Orenburg, a former employee of a telecommunications company will appear before the court, who has stolen more than one million rubles from clients' bank accounts.

According to the investigation, the defendant copied the identification codes of SIM-cards of subscribers of one of the mobile operators. After his dismissal, the man earned money by sending messages to a single customer service number of one of the banks and, in the case of linking a bank card to the phone, transferring money from it to accounts under his control. The accused converted the stolen funds into cryptocurrency.

More than a hundred people suffered from the criminal's actions, and the amount of damage amounted to more than one million rubles. The materials of the criminal case were transferred to the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Orenburg for consideration.
