During their studies, police officers worked out the main ways to counter and investigate cyber attacks, deepened their knowledge of the procedural aspects of using digital evidence, and also focused on combating cybercrime related to human trafficking, in particular the illegal transport of migrants.
This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine .

The training program was developed by the Representative Office of the International Organization for Migration in Ukraine in cooperation with the Department of Cyber Police of the National Police of Ukraine with financial support from the Government of the Kingdom of Norway.

The training course aims to fulfill the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine regarding the protection of society from cybercrime and to comply with the requirements of the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.

The course material included not only a solid theoretical part, but also applied practical tasks and tests. The training lasted more than six weeks. Cyber police units studied remotely. The platform provided the training participants with the opportunity to communicate with experienced specialists who accompanied the training course.

The cyberpolice expresses its sincere gratitude to the IOM representation in Ukraine and to the specialists who took part in the development and implementation of the training course.
